Likewise, it is marked by the raging Trishuli River to the west and the Everest region towards the east. A perfect combination of nature and culture, the Langtang valley is home to the ethnic Tamang group. Boasting rich lineage and history, glimpses of ancient culture can still be seen in the day-to-day livelihood of the people even today. Well known for their hospitality, most of the populace here are Buddhists.
Apart from the Langtang Valley Trek, there are numerous other ways to enjoy the Langtang region. Langtang Himal Trek, Tamang Heritage Trail Trek, and Gosainkunda Lake Trek are other treks near the Langtang Valley Trek.
