The Everest region is, without a doubt, one of the best regions in Nepal for trekking. Not only does it offer you an authentic trekking experience it also gives you a great insight into the culture and traditions of the local Sherpas

My Everest Trip proudly presents to you no less than six different treks in the Everest region, which means everybody has the opportunity to experience adventures in this beautiful part of the country, regardless of physical shape, trekking experience, age, or time available.

All our treks start with the legendary flight to Lukla and visit Namche Bazaar, also known as The Gate to Everest.

All our treks include:

  • Airport/hotel pickup and drop off
  • Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu one night before and one night after the Trek (B&B)
  • Kathmandu – Lukla –Kathmandu transport by flight
  • Meals on the entire board in the whole trekking (B, L, D)

Preparing for your Trek

We recommend you start preparing for your Trek at home. Some of our treks demand good physical shape and stamina. Buy good quality trekking shoes and ensure you wear them before avoiding blisters or other damage on your feet. Please read carefully through the equipment list on our website to provide you bring the right equipment, as the weather conditions in the mountains can be pretty tricky; also, there is a limit to what you or your porter can carry. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about how to prepare or what to bring. Our qualified team is always ready to answer any question and give good advice.  

Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp TrekThe classic 14 days EBC trek gives you the essence of trekking. The best views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks, beautiful and strenuous trails, high altitude, and insight into the traditional culture of the local Sherpas. The EBC trek is a spiritual and scenic experience. We pass Buddhist Monasteries, representing a cultural treasure of proud architectural tradition. On day nine, you will reach Everest Base Camp at 5364 m. From here, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the giants, crowned by the greatest of them all, Mount Everest (8848 m)     

The Trek follows strenuous trails, but you will be supported by our experienced and well-educated guides, who will take immediate action and know exactly what to do if you show symptoms of altitude sickness, dehydration or struggles.

Everest Cho La Pass Trek

This 18 days trek is the extended version of the classic EBC trek. It gives you more time to absorb the beauty of the landscape, the culture, and the spiritual pleasures the Everest region is known for. 

This is high-altitude trekking at its best, giving you the true feeling of what trekking in the Himalayas is all about. In addition, to visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m), this Trek will take you through Gokyo Valley and the high Pass Cho La at 5367 m. You will have an acclimatization day in Gokyo, which allows you to hike to the 5th lake of the valley and Gokyo Ri, from where you can enjoy the view of Ngozumba, the biggest glacier in the world.

This Trek is a bit demanding, but as always, you will be guided by our highly qualified staff. If you want to take the challenge of trekking one step further, this is the Trek for you.

Everest Three-Pass Trek

This 20 days trek is one of the most challenging treks in our repertoire of Everest Base Camp treks. Everest Three Passes Trek gives you a rich opportunity to experience the various landscapes and fauna of the region. Passing through moraines and glaciers, the Kongma La, Cho La, the Gokyo lakes, and Renjo La Pass.

On the way, you will pass through Sherpa villages, visit Buddhist monasteries, and learn about the local culture and traditions. You will reach Everest Base Camp, and on the route, you will have a magnificent view of the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas.

This Trek will give you absolute satisfaction with trekking and give you that wonderful feeling of achievement. You will need stamina but will be well supported by your Guide, who will ensure you are always safe.

Everest Gokyo Ri Trek 

This 13 days trek is a brilliant alternative to the classic EBC trek. It will not take you to Everest Base Camp, but it will take you to the Sherpa settlement Namche Bazaar as the other tours start in Lukla. Namche Bazaar is the gate to Everest, and you will see a lot of activities of trekkers and climbers preparing for adventures and learning about the local Sherpas’ traditions and culture.

The trail will take you through luscious green forests, icy moraines, and rocky terrain. You will trek around the beautiful and crystal clear Gokyo lakes and have the views of Mount Everest, Lohse, and Amadablam, among others, as your backdrop throughout the route.

On day eight, you will climb Gokyo Ri and enjoy the view of the mountains, the Gokyo lakes, and the Ngozumpa glacier. 

This Trek is rated moderate difficulty, but you will always have support from a qualified guide.

Everest Short Trek

If you have less time or want to combine trekking with other adventures, this 5-day short Trek is an easy option to enjoy hiking in the Everest Region. 

You will fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding on the first day. The next day a 5-6 hours trek to Namche Bazaar. On day 3, you will explore Namche Bazaar’s settlement and the surroundings. You will visit a museum where you can learn about the Sherpa’s history and traditions and later hike to Syanboche airport and Khumjung, the most significant settlement of Sherpas. On day four, you walk back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu on day five. 

This medium-rated Trek is, despite a few days, packed with the beautiful views and landscape the Everest Region is famous for

Everest Culture Trek:

These 12 days of Everest culture trek is one of the most accessible trekking routes in Everest reason Nepal. Lower altitude and shorter daily walks make this Trek suitable for less experienced trekkers and older adults. As the name implies, this Trek is packed with cultural experiences. You will visit a local museum to gain insight into the Sherpa lifestyle, history, and culture. You will see the famous Thyangboche monastery, one of the largest monasteries in the Khumbu region.  

This will be a spiritual experience and give you the joy of trekking in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
