Lukla Airport is also known as Tenzing-Hillary Airport in the Everest region. Which is the most dangerous airport in the world? This is the busiest airport for the Everest Himalayas trek. People worldwide fly to Lukla from Kathmandu during the peak trekking seasons, Autumn and Spring. It will take 35 minutes to fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, which will be the most memorable and exciting for visitors and the scariest moment for trekkers who are dreaming of reaching Mount Everest Base Camp for the first time.

The history of Lukla airport is just as fascinating. Local Sherpas disagreed with Hillary’s plan to build an airport on the land. However, he convinced them of this by giving them US$2,650 for that purpose. As of today, it is the only airport in the Khumbu region. On this tour, you can experience the thrill of landing in the world’s most adventurous location. Even from the Lukla airport, you can get the perfect view of Mount Everest.
