Nepal Tibet Bhutan Tour’s 11-day adventure begins with your visits to famous Nepalese landmarks like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square. Next, you take a flight to Lhasa, Tibet, which gives any foreigner a feeling of mystique in the air. For the following two days, we visit several prominent landmarks of Tibet, such as Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor market. After that, we fly back to Kathmandu.

Nepal Tibet Bhutan tour has three different UNESCO World Heritage sites, namely, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We also explore the ancient city of Bhaktapur, inhabited mainly by the Newar ethnic group. Next is a flight to Paro, Bhutan, which offers spectacular views of the Himalayas before you arrive at the picturesque valley of Paro. The following day we drive to Thimpu, exploring landmarks like King Jigme Dorje Memorial Chorten and Botanical Garden. The next day we go to Paro and explore several milestones in the valley. Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal (1,310m/4,298ft) |O/N at 3-star hotel (A, D)    

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 02

Explore Kathmandu, Nepal |O/N at a 3-star hotel (A, B, D)

Half-day sight-seeing includes Kathmandu Durbar Square–the palace of the then Malla and Shah Kings of Nepal, Kumari Temple– the house of the virgin goddess, Swayambhunath–a stupa atop a hill vividly displaying Kathmandu. Afternoon visit Patan Durbar Square, including the Golden Temple, Krishna Temple, and Patan Museum.

Day 03

Fly from Kathmandu, Nepal to Lhasa/Tibet, China | O/N at 3-star Hotel (A, B, D)

Fly to Gongar airport and drive to Lhasa through the Yarlung Tsangpo and Kyi rivers. Rest day for altitude acclimatization.

Day 04

Explore Lhasa, Tibet |O/N at 3-Star Hotel (A, B, D)

A morning visit to Potala Palace, built in the 17th century, provides fantastic views of Lhasa and houses the private quarters of the Dalai Lama. Evening visit to Sera Monastery and Norbulingka–the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, which houses the most extensive artificial garden in Tibet.

Day 05

Explore Lhasa |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, D)

Morning visit to Drepung Monastery, the largest Tibetan monastery built in 1416 by a disciple of Tsongkhapa, housing thousands of monks. Afternoon visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhor market, which combines Tibetan and Nepalese art and architecture.

Day 06

Fly back to Kathmandu and explore Kathmandu |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, D)

Fly back to Kathmandu and visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Morning visit to Pashupatinath and Boudhanath Afternoon visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Day 07

Fly from Kathmandu, Nepal to Paro, Bhutan | O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, L, D)

Fly from Kathmandu with a magnificent view of the world’s highest peaks as you land on the picturesque valley of Paro

Day 08

Drive from Paro to Thimphu (55 Km, 1.5 hrs drive) |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, L, D)

Drive to Thimpu. At Thimphu, visit the Arts and Crafts School, Traditional Medicine Institute, Tashichho Dzong, King Jigme Dorji Memorial Chorten, traditional paper factory, Botanical Garden, and Handicrafts Emporium. If it is a weekend, visit the weekend market in Thimphu.

Day 09

Drive from Thimphu to Paro |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, L, D)

Drive back to Paro. At Paro, visit the Taktsang Monastery, Watch Tower (Ta-Dzong), National Library, workshop for fine metal craft and mask-making, Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, Handicrafts Emporium, and local shops for souvenirs.

Day 10

Fly back to Kathmandu, Nepal | O/N at 3-Star Hotel (A, B, D)

A breathtaking flight over the Himalayas brings you back to Kathmandu. Feel free to explore the city in your spare time.

Day 11

Departure| (B)

Your adventure in the Himalayas comes to an end today. Drop off at the Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
