Bardia Jungle Safari Tour

Adventurous jungle explorations: Bardia National Park is Nepal’s largest and most undisturbed wilderness area, covering 968 square kilometers. Established in 1988 near the southern border of Nepal’s far north-west corner, this Terai treasure adjoins the eastern bank of the Karnali River in Bardiya District.

Exotic wildlife and landscapes: About 70% of the park is covered with forest, with the balance a mixture of grassland, savannah, and riverine forest. The flora recorded in the park comprises 839 plant species that pepper a wide range of vegetation, including alluvial and subtropical, both of which provide ideal habitat for the 642 other species hosted within the park.

No matter what animal lover you are, the national park will have something to satisfy your curiosity. The Karnali-Babai river system and its myriad lakes provide ideal habitats for the 125 recorded fish species. However, mugger crocodiles genuinely rule the lakes. Take a canoe and find yourself level with the water’s surface, cruising face-to-face with the formidable reptiles. Or, if you fancy something less intimidating, why not go dolphin watching and marvel as the Gangetic dolphin splashes past?

The most famous animals to rule this kingdom, however, are the land mammals. The Bardiya National Park is home to at least 53 mammals, including swamp deer, rhinoceros, wild elephants, and the infamous Bengal tiger. This protected area and the neighboring Banke National Park represent the Tiger Conservation Unit (TCU). Day 01: On Your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Ambasa Stand, our friendly staff will greet you. You will then be transferred to our Lodge, where you will be offered refreshments and given your programmers for the day. 15:00: You will have a village tour of a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharu. 20:00: Dinner.

Day 02: 06:00: Wake up call. 06:30: Breakfast. 07:30: A magical one-hour Elephant Ride. This is followed by a visit to the Visitor’s Center, Crocodile Breeding Center, and Tharu Cultural Museum. 13:00: Lunch. 15:00: Jungle Walk – accompanied by our experienced naturalist and wildlife tracker. This is an excellent opportunity to see flora and fauna of the park up close. 20:00: Dinner.

Day 03: 06:00: Wake up call. 06:30: Breakfast. 07:00: Bird watching: Marvel as you watch the many species of birds found in Bardia, followed by a visit to Karnali River for Dolphin sightseeing. Noon: Lunch. 13:30: Departure for onward journey.

 Verified My Everest Trip has helped me to achieve my EBC dream..
Trekking the EBC with My Everest Trip is one of my best hiking experiences. The initial contact with Puru, owner of the company, was smooth. He always gave me timely responses even though there are about 12 hours of time difference. Puru also made sure we were well taken care throughout the whole trip. He was at Kathmandu airport to pick us up, sent us to the hotel; He was on phone with different airlines to secure us a flight to Lukla when our flight had technical issues. After we were back in Kathmandu, he provided us with a private car to have a day tour of the city. During the trekking, our guide Shree, with his extensive experience on the trails, suggested us to hike counter-clockwise, which was the opposite of my original plan. I am so glad I took this advice and made our 12-day EBC-ChoLa Pass- Gokyo trekking a success. He also provided micro spikes and warm mittens for us. Without micro spikes we would not have crossed Cho-La Pass. I would highly recommend My Everest Trip to anyone who has the dream of hiking in the Himalayas.

Our 12-day hiking experience to EBC couldn’t be enjoyable without the help of our guide Shree and porter Mitra. Shree’s experience on the trail gave us good advice to hike counter clockwise, Namche- EBC- Cho-la Pass- Gokyo-Namche. Even though we had a few days of bad weather, We never had any problems, but enjoyed spectacular views of the Himalaya mountains, valleys, and the ecosystem. we would highly recommend Shree and My Everest Trip for anybody that want to experience Mount Everest camp hike.

I can’t say enough incredible things about My Everest Trip, especially Puru (the owner) and Shree (my guide). From the very beginning, Puru was unbelievably responsive—patiently answering what must have felt like a billion questions and making me feel completely confident and prepared before even arriving in Nepal. Shree, my guide, was absolutely exceptional. I’m not the fastest trekker, but he never once made me feel rushed. He walked at my pace, constantly checked on how I was feeling, and took my health very seriously—making sure I stayed safe and avoided altitude sickness. His encouragement and positivity kept me going on the toughest days, and I truly don’t think I would have made it to Base Camp without him. What really sets this team apart is how far above and beyond they go. They helped customize my trip so I could spend a night at the iconic Everest View Hotel, which ended up being one of the highlights of the entire experience. They also handled all logistics seamlessly—securing the best tea houses and lounges along the route so I was always comfortable. Shree even helped me track down a tattoo studio in Namche, which turned out to be the highest tattoo studio in the world—such a unique and unforgettable addition to the journey! When weather delays impacted flights, they acted quickly and got me onto the second helicopter out—something that made all the difference in catching my return flight while others were stuck on the mountain.  Verified Amazing Trip to EBC !
Our trip to EBC was amazing and an adventurous trip ! We were 4 hrs away from EBC and had to turn around due to a blizzard ( Snow storm ) and they had closed EBC due to amount of snow and risk. Since we had Shree with us, who was an absolute gentlemen, caring, and experienced, he guided us to a safe place. We walked down for 10 hrs in 3 feet of snow so that we can get rescued. I have to say that, without shree it wouldn't have been a great experience. I would highly recommend to hire Shree as your guide.

My friend and I had the best time trekking to Everest Base Camp with our amazing local guide, Shree! We're from Alaska and fairly used to hiking, but found the expertise and assistance from My Everest Trip to be invaluable (we got a sleeping bag, trekking poles, a porter, and all of the details taken care of!) The real treat though was getting a glimpse of the Himalayan life from a local tour guide. I went with my gal pal up to Everest Base Camp and we had the BEST TIME EVER!!!!!! Puru did a fine job with taking care of the logistics, Pitas was a mighty fine porter, and saving the best for last, Shree is the BEST GUIDE IN NEPAL!!!!! Shree took very good care of us and made sure we are healthy and having fun. We are the dream team!!!!  Verified I recently completed a 14-day trek in the Himalayas , around Ama Dablam and Gokyo lake, and I really enjoyed it. Our guide Shree was professional, calm, positive and knew the route very well. He checked our health on the altitude, kept us organized, and made sure everything went smoothly. We had to change the route due to the weather and Shree was very flexible, suggested options to us which I appreciated very much . If you’re planning a trek, I definitely recommend him.

Everything was very well organised, and MP, our guide, was very helpful and ensured we were always able to acclimatise without any issues. Mahesh, our porter, was also great.
