Nepal Culture Tour offers a journey through the Himalayan region of Nepal, featuring lakes, ancient caves, and traditional culture. It also includes a Sunrise and Sunset tour at Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site renowned for its jungle safaris, canoeing, birdwatching, and Tharu cultural dances. Chitwan National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife.

The 10-day Nepal Cultural Tour takes you through holy pilgrimage sites, historical monuments, and UNESCO World Heritage sites that reflect Nepal’s cultural richness and diversity. The tour takes you through three of the Durbar Squares of Kathmandu valley: Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan Durbar Squares, built by Malla kings.

Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath are the other three attractions of this tour in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which hold cultural and historical significance. Pashupatinath is a holy temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, featuring pagoda-style architecture. At the same time, Boudhanath is the largest stupa in Asia. Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is a stupa that requires climbing 365 steps.

Our next destination is Pokhara, the “City of Lakes”. Pokhara offers views of the Annapurna range, including Machhapuchhre. Nepal is also the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha. Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini, Kapilvastu. The tour also takes you to the home of the Buddha, the Ashoka pillar, the Maya Devi temple, and the palace of the Lord Buddha.

Nepal Cultural Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,310m/4,298ft) |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, D)

Upon arrival, pick up at Tribhuvan International Airport, and transfer to a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: AM: Visit Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath PM: Visit Patan City. Night: 1.5 hr Drive to Nagarkot to enjoy Sunset |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, D)

After breakfast, we go to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath stupa. We then go to visit Patan Durbar Square. After a short visit to Kathmandu and Patan city, we drive to Nagarkot in a jeep to enjoy the sunset. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 03: Early Morning: Enjoy Sunrise in Nagarkot. After Breakfast: Drive back to Kathmandu Valley. On the way, Visit Bhaktapur City. PM: Visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath| O/N at 3 Star hotel (A, B, D)

We wake up early and drive to Nagarkot tower to enjoy the stunning sunrise in Nagarkot. After breakfast, we returned to Kathmandu valley and visited Bhaktapur Durbar Square, built by Malla Kings. We see Naytapola Temple, 55 window Palace, Golden Gate, and many more. We also visit the holy temple of Lord Shiva, “Pashupatinath”, and the Buddhist pilgrimage site “, Boudhanath Stupa”. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 04: 5-6hr Drive to Pokhara and enjoy a relaxing culture program in the evening

Today we drive to Pokhara alongside the Trishuli River. Enjoying the countryside view along the way, we arrive at Pokhara. Later in the evening, we want a relaxing cultural program. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara

Day 05: Sightseeing Pokhara & Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Fish Tail's Peak, Seti River gorge, Mahendra Gufa| O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, D)

Today we explore Pokhara, also known as the city of Lake. We take a sightseeing tour and explore Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Fish Tail’s Peak, Seti River Gorge, and Mahendra Gufa. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Pokhara.

Day 06: Early Morning: 4-5 hr Drive to Chitwan National Park PM: Chitwan National Park: Upon Arrival, Tharu Village Walk, Elephant Stable Visit| O/N at 3-star Hotel (A, B, L, D)

Leaving behind Pokhara city, we drive towards Chitwan National Park early in the morning. Upon reaching Chitwan and resting for a while, we walk around the colourful Tharu Village. We also take a short visit to the Elephant stable to see elephants. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Chitwan.

Day 07: Chitwan National Park| Jungle Safari, Jungle Walk, Visit to Elephant Breeding Center, Canoe ride along the Rapti River, Tharu Stick Culture Dance

We go to Jungle Safari to see various animals inside the national park. We also go to visit the Elephant breeding centre. After the visit to the breeding centre, we take a canoe ride along the Rapti River. Later in the evening, we get entertained by the Tharu cultural dance presented by the locals. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 08: Chitwan National Park | Early Morning Bird Watching | 4-5hr Drive to Lumbini Upon arrival, visit Sacred Lumbini Garden, the Ashoka pillar, Maya Devi Temple | O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, D)

Today we go for early bird watching inside the national park, where we can find more than 450 species of exotic birds. After bird watching, we drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Upon reaching, we checked into the Hotel and visited Sacred Lumbini Garden, Ashoka Pillar, and Maya Devi Temple, where Buddha was born. Overnight at the 3-star Hotel.

Day 09: Explore Lumbini | Visit Tilaurkot & Kapilvastu Museum | O/N at 3-Star Hotel (A, B, D)

Today we explore Lumbini by visiting Tilaurkot, the ancient palace of King Suddodhan (father of Siddhartha Gautam) located 27km west of Lumbini. It is where Lord Gautam Buddha spent his childhood and formative years as a Shakya Prince. After visiting Tilaurkot, we also take a visit to Kapilvastu Museum. Overnight at the 3-star Hotel.

Day 10: Early Morning fly back to Kathmandu PM: Free day |O/N at 3 Star Hotel (A, B, D)

We catch our early morning scenic flight to Kathmandu. You can either rest or stroll around the markets to shop for souvenirs to take back home. Later in the evening, a farewell dinner will be held at the local Nepali restaurant to celebrate the completion of the tour. Overnight at a 3-star hotel.

Day 11: Departure (B)

Drop off at Tribhuvan International Airport for your Final Departure.

 Verified My Everest Trip has helped me to achieve my EBC dream..
Trekking the EBC with My Everest Trip is one of my best hiking experiences. The initial contact with Puru, owner of the company, was smooth. He always gave me timely responses even though there are about 12 hours of time difference. Puru also made sure we were well taken care throughout the whole trip. He was at Kathmandu airport to pick us up, sent us to the hotel; He was on phone with different airlines to secure us a flight to Lukla when our flight had technical issues. After we were back in Kathmandu, he provided us with a private car to have a day tour of the city. During the trekking, our guide Shree, with his extensive experience on the trails, suggested us to hike counter-clockwise, which was the opposite of my original plan. I am so glad I took this advice and made our 12-day EBC-ChoLa Pass- Gokyo trekking a success. He also provided micro spikes and warm mittens for us. Without micro spikes we would not have crossed Cho-La Pass. I would highly recommend My Everest Trip to anyone who has the dream of hiking in the Himalayas.

 Verified EBC- Our most rewarding hiking trip
Our 12-day hiking experience to EBC couldn’t be enjoyable without the help of our guide Shree and porter Mitra. Shree’s experience on the trail gave us good advice to hike counter clockwise, Namche- EBC- Cho-la Pass- Gokyo-Namche. Even though we had a few days of bad weather, We never had any problems, but enjoyed spectacular views of the Himalaya mountains, valleys, and the ecosystem. we would highly recommend Shree and My Everest Trip for anybody that want to experience Mount Everest camp hike.

 Verified EBC Trek, absolutely incredible!!!
I can’t say enough incredible things about My Everest Trip, especially Puru (the owner) and Shree (my guide). From the very beginning, Puru was unbelievably responsive—patiently answering what must have felt like a billion questions and making me feel completely confident and prepared before even arriving in Nepal. Shree, my guide, was absolutely exceptional. I’m not the fastest trekker, but he never once made me feel rushed. He walked at my pace, constantly checked on how I was feeling, and took my health very seriously—making sure I stayed safe and avoided altitude sickness. His encouragement and positivity kept me going on the toughest days, and I truly don’t think I would have made it to Base Camp without him. What really sets this team apart is how far above and beyond they go. They helped customize my trip so I could spend a night at the iconic Everest View Hotel, which ended up being one of the highlights of the entire experience. They also handled all logistics seamlessly—securing the best tea houses and lounges along the route so I was always comfortable. Shree even helped me track down a tattoo studio in Namche, which turned out to be the highest tattoo studio in the world—such a unique and unforgettable addition to the journey! When weather delays impacted flights, they acted quickly and got me onto the second helicopter out—something that made all the difference in catching my return flight while others were stuck on the mountain. As a solo traveler, I always felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.  Verified Amazing Trip to EBC !
Our trip to EBC was amazing and an adventurous trip ! We were 4 hrs away from EBC and had to turn around due to a blizzard ( Snow storm ) and they had closed EBC due to amount of snow and risk. Since we had Shree with us, who was an absolute gentlemen, caring, and experienced, he guided us to a safe place. We walked down for 10 hrs in 3 feet of snow so that we can get rescued. I have to say that, without shree it wouldn't have been a great experience. I would highly recommend to hire Shree as your guide.

 Verified Unforgettable Adventure
My friend and I had the best time trekking to Everest Base Camp with our amazing local guide, Shree! We're from Alaska and fairly used to hiking, but found the expertise and assistance from My Everest Trip to be invaluable (we got a sleeping bag, trekking poles, a porter, and all of the details taken care of!) The real treat though was getting a glimpse of the Himalayan life from a local tour guide. From getting patient answers to many questions, introduced to local delicacies, to evening musical jam sessions in teahouses, this trip was an unforgettable adventure.

I went with my gal pal up to Everest Base Camp and we had the BEST TIME EVER!!!!!! Puru did a fine job with taking care of the logistics, Pitas was a mighty fine porter, and saving the best for last, Shree is the BEST GUIDE IN NEPAL!!!!! Shree took very good care of us and made sure we are healthy and having fun. We are the dream team!!!!  Verified I recently completed a 14-day trek in the Himalayas , around Ama Dablam and Gokyo lake, and I really enjoyed it. Our guide Shree was professional, calm, positive and knew the route very well. He checked our health on the altitude, kept us organized, and made sure everything went smoothly. We had to change the route due to the weather and Shree was very flexible, suggested options to us which I appreciated very much . If you’re planning a trek, I definitely recommend him.

He knew the mountains like the back of his hand, kept us safe, and made the whole trip feel easy (even when it wasn’t!). Everything was very well organised, and MP, our guide, was very helpful and ensured we were always able to acclimatise without any issues. Mahesh, our porter, was also great.
