My Everest Trip has helped me to achieve my EBC dream.. Trekking the EBC with My Everest Trip is one of my best hiking experiences. The initial contact with Puru, owner of the company, was smooth. He always gave me timely responses even though there are about 12 hours of time difference. Puru also made sure we were well taken care throughout the whole trip. He was at Kathmandu airport to pick us up, sent us to the hotel; He was on phone with different airlines to secure us a flight to Lukla when our flight had technical issues. After we were back in Kathmandu, he provided us with a private car to have a day tour of the city. During the trekking, our guide Shree, with his extensive experience on the trails, suggested us to hike counter-clockwise, which was the opposite of my original plan. I am so glad I took this advice and made our 12-day EBC-ChoLa Pass- Gokyo trekking a success. He also provided micro spikes and warm mittens for us. Without micro spikes we would not have crossed Cho-La Pass. I would highly recommend My Everest Trip to anyone who has the dream of hiking in the Himalayas.

EBC- Our most rewarding hiking trip Our 12-day hiking experience to EBC couldn’t be enjoyable without the help of our guide Shree and porter Mitra. Shree’s experience on the trail gave us good advice to hike counter clockwise, Namche- EBC- Cho-la Pass- Gokyo-Namche. Even though we had a few days of bad weather, We never had any problems, but enjoyed spectacular views of the Himalaya mountains, valleys, and the ecosystem. we would highly recommend Shree and My Everest Trip for anybody that want to experience Mount Everest camp hike.

EBC Trek, absolutely incredible!!! I can’t say enough incredible things about My Everest Trip, especially Puru (the owner) and Shree (my guide). From the very beginning, Puru was unbelievably responsive—patiently answering what must have felt like a billion questions and making me feel completely confident and prepared before even arriving in Nepal. Shree, my guide, was absolutely exceptional. I’m not the fastest trekker, but he never once made me feel rushed. He walked at my pace, constantly checked on how I was feeling, and took my health very seriously—making sure I stayed safe and avoided altitude sickness. His encouragement and positivity kept me going on the toughest days, and I truly don’t think I would have made it to Base Camp without him. What really sets this team apart is how far above and beyond they go. They helped customize my trip so I could spend a night at the iconic Everest View Hotel, which ended up being one of the highlights of the entire experience. They also handled all logistics seamlessly—securing the best tea houses and lounges along the route so I was always comfortable. Shree even helped me track down a tattoo studio in Namche, which turned out to be the highest tattoo studio in the world—such a unique and unforgettable addition to the journey! When weather delays impacted flights, they acted quickly and got me onto the second helicopter out—something that made all the difference in catching my return flight while others were stuck on the mountain. As a solo traveler, I always felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Puru and Shree made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, turning what could have been a daunting experience into something unforgettable. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and as someone who isn’t exactly in peak physical shape, I’m incredibly proud to have made it to Everest Base Camp—with huge thanks to their guidance, care, and encouragement. If you’re considering trekking in Nepal, I wholeheartedly recommend My Everest Trip. You won’t find a more dedicated, thoughtful, and professional team.

Amazing Trip to EBC ! Our trip to EBC was amazing and an adventurous trip ! We were 4 hrs away from EBC and had to turn around due to a blizzard ( Snow storm ) and they had closed EBC due to amount of snow and risk. Since we had Shree with us, who was an absolute gentlemen, caring, and experienced, he guided us to a safe place. We walked down for 10 hrs in 3 feet of snow so that we can get rescued. I have to say that, without shree it wouldn't have been a great experience. I would highly recommend to hire Shree as your guide.

Unforgettable Adventure My friend and I had the best time trekking to Everest Base Camp with our amazing local guide, Shree! We're from Alaska and fairly used to hiking, but found the expertise and assistance from My Everest Trip to be invaluable (we got a sleeping bag, trekking poles, a porter, and all of the details taken care of!) The real treat though was getting a glimpse of the Himalayan life from a local tour guide. From getting patient answers to many questions, introduced to local delicacies, to evening musical jam sessions in teahouses, this trip was an unforgettable adventure.

I recently completed a 14-day trek in the Himalayas , around Ama Dablam and Gokyo lake, and I really enjoyed it. Our guide Shree was professional, calm, positive and knew the route very well. He checked our health on the altitude, kept us organized, and made sure everything went smoothly. We had to change the route due to the weather and Shree was very flexible, suggested options to us which I appreciated very much . If you’re planning a trek, I definitely recommend him.

Thankyou Shree!🙏 Just wrapped up a 14-day trek in the Himalayas and it was absolutely unreal – thanks to our amazing guide Shree. He knew the mountains like the back of his hand, kept us safe, and made the whole trip feel easy (even when it wasn’t!). Super organised, always had a smile, and genuinely cared about the group and locals. He went above and beyond every day – from helping us with altitude to sharing laughs over a cuppa at night. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you’re thinking of doing a trek in the Himalayas – do it, and make sure you go with this legend.

If you had to pick one company to plan your EBC trek or really anything I would 100% pick this company, simply because of the owner. There was moments during my trip where I had concerns and the owner was always SO QUICK to reply and handle the problem in such a professional and simple manner. Knows how to communicate and reassure his clients like a natural born leader(he was also a guide for EBC before so he is extremely educated on trekking). Thank you again for this amazing experience🙏🙏.

We did the Annapurna circuit hike through this company, which took us 12 days. Everything was very well organised, and MP, our guide, was very helpful and ensured we were always able to acclimatise without any issues. Mahesh, our porter, was also great. The company also offered to transport our bags from Kathmandu to Pokhara, as we didn’t plan on heading back to Kathmandu for a couple of weeks.

Yala Peak Climbing Additional Information

How Long Does It Take to Climb Yala Peak?

The duration of a Yala Peak climbing expedition can vary depending on the exact itinerary, acclimatization days, weather conditions, and the climber’s pace. However, a complete round trip from Kathmandu, including the trek to base camp, acclimatization, summiting Yala Peak, and return, typically takes around 16 days.

It’s worth noting that this time frame also includes exploration of the Langtang Valley and cultural immersion into the local Tamang communities. Always remember that safety and proper acclimatization should precede speed when planning any high-altitude trek or climb.

Where is Yala Peak?

Yala Peak is located in the Langtang Region of Nepal, a captivating area characterized by its diverse flora, fauna, and rich cultural heritage. The peak lies close to the Tibetan border, north of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

The Langtang Region is a lesser-traveled area than the Everest or Annapurna regions, Yala peak offers tranquil trails and an intimate experience with local cultures, especially the Tamang people. With its elevation of 5,520 meters, Yala Peak is a non-technical climb that offers stunning panoramic views of surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Yala Peak Difficulty

Captivating Himalaya Adventure Yala Peak is generally considered to be of moderate-difficulty climbing peak in Nepal. While it’s not a technically challenging climb like some of the higher Himalayan peaks, it still requires good physical fitness and stamina due to its altitude of 5,520 meters (18,110 feet).

There are steep sections and areas of snow and ice, so some basic mountaineering skills are beneficial. However, it’s often chosen by less experienced climbers looking to gain high-altitude experience. It’s advisable to understand how to use equipment like crampons, harnesses, ice axes, and ropes.

A crucial factor in successfully summiting Yala Peak is proper acclimatization, which manages the risks associated with high altitude sickness, is crucial for successfully summiting Yala Peak. Therefore, the trek is often organized with ample time for acclimatization, typically starting with a trek through the Langtang Valley.

Like any high-altitude trek or climb, the challenge of Yala Peak should not be underestimated. Still, with proper preparation and guidance, it can be a gratifying adventure for those looking to step into peak climbing.

Yala Peak climbing Cost

Yala Peak is a thrilling adventure, blending picturesque natural beauty and a taste of Himalayan peak climbing. The cost of this expedition varies significantly based on factors like the chosen expedition organizer, group size, services included, and equipment rental.

While international adventure companies may offer packages, local Nepalese agencies also provide tailored services that can affect the total price range of Yala Peak Climb costs, which are $1,350 to USD 2,500 per person. Still, it’s important to note that additional costs for personal gear, travel insurance, and guide gratuities may apply.

A climber’s investment in this adventure goes beyond the financial aspect, as the unforgettable experience of scaling the 5,520-meter peak and immersing in the rich cultural heritage of the Langtang Region is truly priceless. Remember, a successful climbing expedition requires thorough research, careful planning, and a trusted service provider.
