Overview of Bungee Jump in Nepal

Bungee jumping in Nepal is a must for adventure activities. They offer two types of jumps, average and swing, giving you a different thrilling experience. Located near the Nepal-Tibet border, a three-hour drive from Kathmandu, Nepal’s first bungee jumping site is 160m across the wild Bhote Kosi River. The jump was exclusively designed by one of New Zealand’s leading bungee consultants and is operated by some of the most experienced jump masters in the business.

Bungee Jump in Nepal

The agency takes safety very seriously. The Bungee Bridge is the only privately owned bridge in Nepal. According to Swiss measurements, it has been specially designed for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor and has a loading capacity of 41,500 kg, equivalent to 4.5 tons. Over 6000 meters of steel wire is used to build the longest suspension bridge in Nepal. The bridge joins two sides of a great valley. Before its construction, locals had to walk five hours to cross the Bhote Kosi River. It is advised to empty your pockets and not take any intoxicants before the jump.

Everyone will be weighed before the jump so that different cords for different weight categories can be accurately applied. (The Green, Red, and Black lines are used for the lightest, the heaviest, and the heavyweights accordingly).

So now, empty your mind, close your eyes, and JUMP!! Nepal Bungee Jumping is one of the best adventurous add-ons in Nepal. Many prefer to add it to their Nepal–Tibet plan.

We operate Nepal Bungee Jumping in both group and private tours. Customized itineraries with customized travel and accommodation plans are also available on request.
