Detail Itinerary For Upper Dolpo Trek
As per the itinerary, on the first when you arrive at Kathmandu airport we’ll pick you up from there it is your choice either to rest or explore Kathmandu valley on your first day.
On the second day, you’ll get extra fun because you’ll explore the Kathmandu Valley along with the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
From the third day, you’ll begin your journey, on this journey, you’ll fly to Nepaljung from Kathmandu.
From Nepaljung you’ll take another flight to Jupal on your fourth day. After reaching Jhupal you’ll start your trekking journey towards Dunai.
Passing through different suspension bridges, rivers, villages, and dense forests you’ll trek toward Chhepka and reach Ankhe on your fifth day.
Passing through rocky trails, forests, and rivers you’ll trek towards Chunuwar and reach Sulighat after Ankhe on your sixth day.
After leaving Sulighat you’ll trek toward the most beautiful lake of Nepal which is Phoksundo. After 5 to 6 hours of trek, you’ll reach Phoksundo Lake on your seventh day.
Day eight is your acclimatization day, you’ll take a rest and explore the Phoksundo area and you’ll adjust your body to the changed temperature.
On the ninth day, you’ll trek towards Sallaghari and reach Shey Phoksunda Lake.
From Shey Phoksunda Lake you’ll make your way towards Nagdola La HC. passing through the glacial lake and bridges you’ll reach Phoksundo Bhanjyang on your tenth day.
After leaving Phoksundo Bhanjyang you’ll trek towards Shey Gompa. After passing Kang La Pass you’ll reach Shey Gompa on your eleventh day.
On the twelfth day, you’ll take a rest and explore at Shey Gompa. On this day you’ll explore Namgung Gompa through Sela La Pass.
On your thirteenth day, you’ll make your way towards Namduna Gaun.
After 4 to 5 hours of trekking from Namduna Gaun, you’ll reach Saldang Village on your fourteenth day.
Passing through the Nang Chu River to Tiling and Lurigaon village you’ll reach Yangze village on the fifteenth day of your trekking journey.
You’ll trek towards Namdo village after Yangze village, from Namdo village you’ll reach Sibu where you are going to stay a night on the sixteenth day.
On the seventeenth day of your trek, you’ll trek towards Jeng La Pass.
Passing through Jeng La Pass you’ll reach Tokyu on your eighteenth day of trekking journey.
Nineteenth day leads you towards Dho Tarap from Tokyu.
The Twenty days is your rest day on your trekking journey, you can have adequate rest on this day and can also explore the area including different Buddhist Shrines.
After the resting day on Dho Tarap, you’ll move toward Tarap Khola on the twenty-first day of the trek.
On the twenty-second day of the trekking day, you’ll trek towards Khanigoan.
Passing through the forests, rivers, and Lalberi village you’ll reach Tarakot on the twenty-third day of your trek.
Bypassing the Bheri River, several George, villages, and rivers you’ll reach Dunai on the twenty-fourth day of the trek.
The twenty-fifth day is your final day of trekking, you’ll have a short trek on this day. You’ll reach Jupal on this day.
On the twenty-sixth day, you’ll return from your journey. You’ll fly to Nepalgunj that day.
On the twenty-seventh day, you’ll fly back to Kathmandu. This day is the last day with, our team and your fellow trekkers.
